Path of Exile 2 Launches December 11
Path of Exile 2's full release goes live December 11 and the game turns free-to-play. Here's what's confirmed, plus how to register for free launch rewards.

Grinding Gear Games has confirmed a release date for Path of Exile 2's full launch: December 11. That's when the game exits early access and switches to a free-to-play model for the first time.
What's confirmed for December 11
- The 1.0.0 full release goes live December 11 (Pacific Time). Check your local time on aRPG Timeline.
- Path of Exile 2 becomes free-to-play at that point, for new and existing players alike.
- The switch closes out the current early access 0.5.0 “Return of the Ancients” league and 0.5.5 “The Forbidden Rites” event, which are scheduled to end in December ahead of the 1.0 release.
The 1.0 release also brings a wave of new content. GGG has confirmed the Duelist class and the sword weapon type, along with the new skills and support gems that come with them. Full release also completes the campaign with Acts V and VI - which means new zones, monsters, bosses and items - and it ships alongside a large balance patch.
GGG will likely publish the 1.0 patch notes one or two weeks in advance.
