No Rest for the Wicked 1.0 Delayed to March 2027
No Rest for the Wicked's 1.0 launch has been pushed from October 2026 to March 2027, with another Public Test Realm update planned for December.

The new release date: March 2027
It's official: No Rest for the Wicked's 1.0 launch has moved from October 2026 to March 2027. The game stays in Early Access until then, and Moon Studios will keep shipping updates in the meantime.
The reasoning is straightforward. Moon Studios is a small team holding the game to a standard it won't compromise on, and while the 1.0 build is close, the studio says close isn't good enough for a full release. The extra months go toward improving performance, tightening the class system, and polishing the whole game.
Public Test Realm in December
The upside of a longer runway is more time in players' hands. Moon Studios has confirmed more closed and open testing over the coming months, starting with an open Public Test Realm in December. Anyone who jumps in can help shape the final 1.0 build with feedback before launch.
