Incarnation Tree Progress for Season 9
Greetings, wanted to share a bit of the progress on the tree and so on. Currently we are mostly done with the initial tree design and it has 1200 nodes, but we will most likely add 200-300 more to cover more playstyles and class mechanics. The tree is done, working, functional but still needs some visual polish as its still a bit gritty due to zooming and pixel art. All the stats you gain from the tree will be shown in your stat sheet which will also be changed to show the stats you have in blue text on top, and showing the non obtained stats as gray on the bottom (not done yet). The tree features: Shift + hover a node : The tree finds the most optimal path to the desired node and shows the path in blue Shift + hover + left click : Allocate points to ALL the nodes on the optimized path if enough points Search : Highlights all nodes that include the search field text in node name or description/stat Zooming Black Holes : You can path around the tree using black holes to pick stuff around the tree without having to path there normally Socket Slots : You can place socketables in these slots (we dont yet know how this will turn out but we are planning to add unique socketables, if not now then later) After the tree is done completely and the nodes are all functional and implemented I will be moving in finishing the Ether tree, which is the atlas tree. Oh yes, there will be another tree in addition to the incarnation tree which opens at level 100. The Ether can be used to boost mechanics, but more about that later (We will move the old glyphs into this tree, and add a ton more options to grind your favourite mechanics). I tend to try and learn to communicate better with the community on stuff that I am working on. Also my humble request : If you have time, please consider checking your steam review for Hero Siege and update it to what you think about the game now, this helps the game tremendously!
