    Cursed War 2.0.3.0 Patch Notes

Hey, Players! New week, new patch. Let's get into it. Reliquary and Relic Reward Screen Improvements As Hell Clock has grown in complexity, the Reliquary has also been expanded far beyond its original design. As a result, even changes to this screen that seem simple may require significant time and careful work to avoid accidentally destroying everything introducing new issues. That's why some of the most requested improvements, such as customizable tabs, aren’t in the game yet. That said, we’re bringing two small quality-of-life improvements: Season-exclusive Relics will now display the Season Icon on the Relic tooltip. The Relic Reward Screen and the Reliquary will now display a highlight icon on Relics you haven’t collected yet. Relic Fixes This patch includes several fixes for Relics that were not working properly. As a result, most of these Relics should feel "stronger", not because they were buffed, but because we've fixed core mechanics that weren't working as intended. Crimson Necklace: Fixed the Relic converting Physical Damage into Lightning Damage instead of Fire Damage. Moldy Skull: Fixed an issue where the relic was removing half of the player’s damage instead of applying the effect described in the Affix. Infested Skull: Fixed the Relic Affix not correctly using (Relic Roll × Shadow Dash Damage) to calculate the explosion damage. Also fixed the Explosion Radius not scaling correctly with Skill Area of Effect modifiers. The Crossing: Fixed the Affix Roll not correctly affecting the Bleed application interval. We’ve also improved rounding precision for Affix values below 3 for every affix in the game. Throwing Spear: Fixed the Spear projectile damage not scaling with Projectile Amount and the Affix Roll not being correctly applied as the projectile’s base damage. Crimson Sword: Fixed the Relic’s Roll being displayed as a multiplicative bonus instead of a multiplicative-additive bonus. Voice of War: Fixed an issue where the Relic could grant multiple instances of the damage buff when more than one Brute was active at the same time. The damage buff will now also remain active if the Brute dies during the Taunt. Scout’s Medal : Fixed the Affix not working correctly when combined with other Movement Speed modifiers. Mother of Perpetual Help (and other Effect Status Areas): There was an issue where Mother of Perpetual Help’s buff was not being correctly reapplied when moving from one Slow Time bubble to another. While investigating this, we discovered a broader problem with how Effect Areas were handled. This fix now applies to all Status Effect Areas. Other Fixes and Quality of Life Changes Relaxed Mode’s “Come Back Stronger” popup will now appear only once per run after 7 minutes, instead of appearing after each floor. Shrine buff effects are now revealed when hovering over a Shrine or when getting close to interact with it using a controller. Second Wind activation now clears all remaining delayed damage instances (such as Endurance damage over time effects) before resurrecting the player. Fixed Nina’s Monster hitbox position, allowing Brutes and Charia Summons to consistently land their attacks. Fixed an issue where breakables would respawn between waves on the Seven O'Clock Train. ---- SO WHAT'S NEXT? Our team remains focused on addressing the most impactful issues, from smaller fixes to larger and more complex problems. We haven’t forgotten about the performance issues and crashes some players are experiencing, both on PC and consoles. Unfortunately, these are among the more challenging issues we’re currently working through. Whenever possible, we’ll continue to bring improvements that enhance the overall player experience. That’s all for this update. Thank you once again for your patience and for the incredible support you’ve continued to show us. Abraços ~ The Hell Clock Team

    Cursed War 2.0.2.0 Patch Notes

Hey, Clockmakers! The post-launch fury after the release of 'Cursed War' has wound down and we could now take a breath and work on loads of fixes for the game. We're very thankful for all your feedback and patience throughout the launch, and we can't wait for you to see and feel these fixes for yourself in-game. So let's get straight into it. And the Legend has come! Not all demons in Purgatory have horns... some have feathers. 1 year ago, a little "typo" summoned an entity our community never forgot. You asked for it, time passed, and what started as an inside joke is now canon. Keep your eyes peeled when roaming through Quixeramobim. Starting today, a legend is lurking. Can you find the most famous (and feared) rooster in the wasteland? GAMEPLAY FIXES Fixed Death Bell using an incorrect damage multiplier instead of the Relic's rolled value. Fixed Explosive Lead's "Marked" status effect appearing in the Character Debuffs list when the projectile bounced back to the player. Fixed Shadow Dash still triggering the Tenkiel's Skyhammer effect after unequipping Death Worship. Fixed Marksmen Rifles moving without the player having activated the 'Relentless Hunters' Unique Blessing. Fix Toll of the Dead not Spawning/Despawning Phantoms correctly when combined with Summon the Guard. Fix Iemanja's Power Orb Maximum Amount increment not reverting on node respec. ENEMY FIXES Reduced Duke's Green and Red Projectiles hitbox radius. Fixed Duke's Projectile Spiral being cast far above the player's height. Added internal hit cooldown to Madman's Projectiles and AoEs. Added internal hit cooldown to Minister of War's Whirlwind projectiles and projectile rain AoEs. Fixed Matriarch's not using the correct summon skill while Enraged. Fixed Matriarch's minions not using the spinning projectile skill on Endgame with extra Boss-mechanics. Projectiles fired by Angry Swarms now follow a more predictable trajectory and have a longer cooldown between attacks. ENDGAME FIXES Fixed the following enemy modifiers that wasn't working on Ascension and Endless Nightmares: Enemies Shoot Additional Projectiles. Enemies Move and Attack Faster. Enemy increased Area Attack Radius. OTHER FIXES Reduce Death Bell's and Head Cutter's falling projectiles flashing effects. Fixed an issue where Blessing View would still show blessings from a skill the player had unequipped after the previous run. Elite enemies with the Explosive and Plague Explosion affixes now display more noticeable visual feedback above their heads. Fixed some fields on the game's HUD displaying invalid characters in some languages. Fixed Player's Stat debuffs showing green colors at tooltips. Removed the invisible wall near the Act 2 entrance in Quixeramobim. Fixed an issue where Necropolis and Laboratory Breakable Jars could appear without textures. Fixed the size of the bottle thrown by 'The Doctor's Hand' unique enemy. WHAT ABOUT THE CONSOLE VERSION? Fixed an issue that corrupted some save files, halting progression in the corrupted save slot for those affected players. Fixed an issue that would lock out players from the Ascension mode on PlayStation 5. Fixed an issue that caused a long delay between confirming the selected Penances and the start of Ascension. Fixed quest tab bar shortcut button not working on consoles. ------ SO WHAT'S NEXT? The team’s now focusing on stability issues, as well as fixes for bugs caught by both our community and our hard-at-work QA duo. We're also aware of noticeable optimization and visual issues that are hampering players' experience, especially towards the Endgame, and we hope to have more to show on that in the future. Abraços! ~ The Hell Clock Team
